Q. Can you import a list of MC numbers for our carriers?
A. We make it easy to import all of your carriers at no additional cost. Importing your carrier list is the quickest and easiest way to get your carriers registered. Provide only the 6-digit MC numbers. We accept a variety of formats, but a Microsoft Excel file is preferred.
If you have the MC numbers of your carriers in your brokerage software, it should be easy to export them to an Excel file. All we need are the MC numbers in one column as shown above. We do not need any other information. You can email the Excel file to support@carrier411.com. Please be sure to include your contact information in the body of the email so we know it's coming from you.
During the import process, which takes about 30 seconds, our system bounces each of the MC numbers provided against our master database of every single MC number that exists. When the MC number matches, it adds it to your account. If an MC number does not match, that means you provided us with an invalid MC number. Our system generates an exclusion report automatically, which gets emailed back to you when the import process is complete. That way you know the bad MC numbers you have in your system, so they can be corrected.
Most transportation management software packages provide the ability to export data. If you are unsure how to export data, please ask your IT department or contact your software vendor for assistance.

Q. Can you import a list of MC numbers to delete carriers from our account?
A. Yes. We do this quite often for customers after they have re-evaluated their carrier base and decided to stop using certain carriers.
Providing us with an Excel file identifying only the MC numbers of the inactive carriers in your brokerage software is the easiest way to remove them from your list of "registered carriers" being monitored by your Carrier411 account.
If you can export a list of MC numbers from your brokerage software to an Excel file, in the same manner explained above, our system can automatically process that file. Additionally, our website also lets you manually "stop monitoring" carriers any time you like.
You can email the Excel file to support@carrier411.com. Please be sure to include your contact information in the body of the email, and specify that you would like the MC numbers deleted from your account.
Q. Can we integrate Carrier411 data with our software system?

A. Only if you want to have your list imported for convenience. Otherwise, members can add and delete carriers from our master database of more than 520,000 companies at the click of a button.

Q. Can other people in my office use Carrier411 at the same time?
A. Yes. We designed Carrier411 as a multi-user application, so anyone at your office location can log into the website with the same username and password to use it at the same time.
Q. May our other office locations use the same account?

Q. I forgot my username and password. How can I get them?
A. Retrieve your login information. Simply enter the email address you provided when you joined, and our system will email your login information. If you did not have an email address when you joined, please call us at (888) 411-9661 for assistance.

A. Carrier safety ratings are updated once a month at the beginning of each month, and they are provided at no additional charge.
Q. How often is your insurance and authority information updated?
A. Our automated system performs comprehensive daily checks for all changes in insurance and operating authority. Upon detecting changes, it provides instant updates and alerts by fax, email and online.
Q. Do you guarantee the accuracy of your information?
A. Our insurance and authority information is obtained directly from the U.S. Department of Transportation. And although it is as reliable and current as we can make it, we cannot warrant or guaranty its accuracy or completeness and provide no indemnification.
